What is an electronic cigarette?
Electronic Cigarettes are an alternative to smoking tobacco. An electric cigarette consists of three major parts, the battery, the Atomizer, and the filter/cart. Most ecigs come with an automatic battery that activates through an airflow sensor. The battery provides electrical power to the atomizer, which is a heating element that vaporizes the liquid. The filter or cart is the mouth piece that contains the flavoring and nicotine. Filters or carts usually have two airflow channels that run down the sides of the mouth piece. The airflow that passes through the channels creates a vacuum that pulls fluid from the filter/cart onto the wick in the atomizer. The wick is what vaporizes the liquid producing vapor. There are filters that contain many different levels of nicotine, even zero nicotine.
Does it contain Nicotine?
Filters/Carts/EJuice come in a variety of nicotine levels, designed to match your daily intake. You can start at any level that appeals to you and adjust as you see fit. Normally a pack a day smokers will start at 18mg, then decrease eventually through 11mg, 6mg, then 0mg. We have 24mg available for the smokers that really need it, but we don’t advocate for higher levels. The concentration of nicotine in ecigs are less than the % amounts in tobacco cigarettes.
Does it contain harmful chemicals like cigarettes?
The only chemical in ecigs that are in real cigarettes is Nicotine. Nicotine by itself is similar to caffine. Nicotine is not the harmful substance in cigarettes, all the other chemicals use to cut and preserve the cigarettes, when burnt is what is harmful to you. Other chemicals in ecigs are water, flavoring, and propylene glycol/vegatable glycerin. These chemicals are deemed safe by the FDA in their own right. Please read the article in the links section about the propylene glycol experiment that was conducted in the 40′s. The article was in TIME magazine.
How long does the batteries last?
Battery life varies depending on the size and usage. “ON THE AVERAGE”
Mini ecigs, the ones that look like cigarettes or similar size to cigarettes will last you 45 min -1 hr if you use it every 5 minutes OR if you use it once every hour will last you about 4-5 hours, all depending on how heavy and long you hit on it.
Larger ecigs, Pen-styles, Toker 1 – If you use it every 5 minutes, the battery will last you about 2 hours, OR if you use it once every hour, then the battery will last you about 5-6 hours, varies with length of hit etc…
Fatty – If you use it every 5 minutes the battery will last you about 8-10 hours, if you use it once or twice a hour, the battery will last you a day and a half roughly, depending on hit length etc…
There are no precise numbers when it comes to batteries. Like all batteries they always degrade over time and the longer you use them.
How long do the filters last?
Mini Ecigs, Carts are usually equal to about less than half a pack of cigarettes. It depends what model ecig you have and how long/heavy of a hit you take.
Toker 1, Filters/carts are usually equal to about 3/4 of a pack of cigarettes. Again, it depends on how heavy/long you drag on it.
Fatty, Filters/carts are usually equal to about half a pack of cigarettes. The Fatty creates the most vapor and consequenly will burn the liquid faster since it creates so much vapor.
All of these carts can be reused with eJuice, so filter life is irrelevant when you use eJuice.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Mini ecig batteries will generally charge in about 1 hour. Toker 1 Batteries take about 1 hour to charge. Fatty Batteries take about 2-3 hours to charge since they are larger capacity batteries. Not all batteries are the same, some last longer, some charger faster, it all depends on frequency of use.
How often do I need to add juice to my filters?
There is no precise amount of time when you need to refill your filters. It also depends on how heavy you use your ecig. Some people can go hours before refilling, where others need to refill every 15 minutes. Our recommendation to our customers is to not smoke the filter or cart totally dry. The key to good performance with your atomizer is having the right wetness in your atomizer. Too much and too little liquid degrades performance. We teach our customers to not over fill or over soak the filters/carts and atomizer. Too much liquid suffocates the atomizer and leads to poor performance and failure. On the other end of the spectrum, too dry will also create bad performance, as well as a burning taste. Heating up the atomizer when it is too dry will also weaken the atomzier leading to failure. The technique we teach is to keep your filter about half full, so that no liquid drips out into the atomzier, then when you want to take a drag add the amount of liquid you plan to vape at the time. This way you maintain the right wetness continuously and the performance doesn’t vary. Purely technique and just a suggestion.
How do I clean my atomizer?
There are many ways that people clean their atomizer. We personally do not clean our atomizers by dipping them in a solution. The forums explain a bunch of ways to do so, but all are still risky. The fear is soaking your atomizer and it no coming back to life after it is dried out. We only recommend the clearing procedure every three filter changes or refills with juice. All you have to do is pull out the filter/cart and drag or cigar puff the atomizer until the vapor thins out a little. This may take up to three or four good drags. What you are doing is burning off the excess liquid that is in the atomizer and keeping it from crusting up. If you do not do this procedure every so often, then your atomizer can begin to fill up with excess liquid degrading performance. This technique is also good to try when your ecig starts to degrade a little, meaning the vapor production decreases even though you have a good battery and a full filter. If you really want to soak your atomizer, we have heard people using the denture cleaners and 90+% rubbing alcohol. We DO NOT Support this method, so if you do it and it kills your atomizer, it is not a reason for getting a replacement. If you do soak it, especially in alcohol, ensure you allow ample time to dry to prevent vaping alcohol.
How do I fill the blank filter with ejuice?
Refilling your filters are really easy. Our filters have wide openings making dripping into the filters to resoak the cotton like material is simple. Just add one drop at a time and watch it soak down. Keep adding drops until it doesn’t soak down. If you are filling a new blank filter, then you need to remove the cotton material from the casing (keep it together, do not unravel it) fill the casing up about 3/4 full and reinsert the cotton material, then top it off with a few drops till it looks soaked/damp.
What is that burning/rubbery/plastic taste?
The burning taste that you may experience can be a couple of things. One is that the filter is dry and needs more juice, which assumes your atomizer is a little dry and can use 1-2 drops in it. A second possiblity for a burning taste is the cotton material protruding out of the filter and touching the wick when it is dry. Please keep the cotton material below the opening of the filter casing. A third reason why you would get a burning taste usually happens when the atomizer is heated up really hot. The plastic of the filter starts to give off a burning smell. A good sign of this happening is the tip of the filter closest to the wick looks like it is deforming from being over heated. The burning taste can also arise from using an old filter. The cotton like material gets old after a few weeks and doesn’t absorb/release liquid as well. Just change the filter or rinse off the cotton material with water and reinsert when it is totally dry. An added tip, try to line up the tip of the filter with the wick in the atomizer. The wick has a narrow and a wide side and so does the filter. Match them when you insert the filter into the atomizer to ensure the wick doesn’t cross and touch the plastic casing of the filter.
Why do I have to fill my filter more often than before?
If you currently have a Fatty, you will notice you refill your filter a little more often than when you used the Toker 1. The Fatty produces a more dense vapor, than previous models. The Fatty will burn off your liquid if you allow it by making big clouds of vapor. Better performance reduces the life of the liquid. It takes more ejuice to make more vapor.
Can I mix my ejuices, flavors & Levels?
Of course, Customers are always mixing and trying new combinations. Mixing flavors is fun and you can come up with some great tasting combinations. Mixing nicotine levels is an option too, especially when you are in between levels. 18mg might be too much and 11mg might be too little, so mixing the 18 and 6 OR 18 and 0 will give you something in between.
How long to atomizers last?
Good Question…! Life span varies depending on care and use by the person. Some people take good care of their atomizer and never over work it. Their atomizer may last them over 6 months. Others abuse or overwork their atomizer and may burn one out in a week. Although they think they are not over doing it, atomizers burn out due to over flooding of liquid and deterioration due to over exerting. If you allow the atomizer to get too dry and you heat it up real hot, it will start to burn itself and eventually die. As discussed in a question above. Manage your atomizer’s wetness. Do not over fill it and do not dry it out, keep a nice wetness to it. If performance degrades with a good battery and filter, then there is a good chance too much liquid is in it. If it starts to taste burnt a lot, then it might be too dry, put 1-2 drops directly into the atomizer, do not exceed 3 drops directly into the atomizer without smoking off instantly.

Where are ecigs made?
No matter what anyone says or advertises. All ecigs are made in China and abroad, they might box or assemble them in the U.S., but there are no ecig factories in the U.S. Those are just marketing feel good ploys.
Does it give off second hand Smoke?
No, it is a harmless water vapor that creates the illusion of smoke. They do not set off smoke detectors. Basically the vapor is the same thing as steam from a pot or vapor from a humidifier. They leave NO trace smell. You can vape in your car with the windows rolled up and A/C on nice and cold. Some flavors might give off a sweet smell for a few seconds, but it will dissapate quickly.
Can I use these anywhere?
For the most part yes, we advise you be courteous and notify management of any establishment you plan to use them in as a courtesy. Most places allow it, and most states still have no law against them yet.
Does it set off smoke detectors?
No, Vape away!
How can I get more Vapor?
Get a Fatty…! LOL Seriously, the key is in the wetness of the atomizer and the drag. Too much fluid drowns or floods the atomizer and it can’t perform, too dry is self explanitory. You can not drag it like a cigarette. You need to take longer and softer steady drags. 8-12 seconds. Kinda like smoking that particular herbal supplement… Too much airflow will result in less vapor. Nice and easy long drags. We call it a sipping drag, like drinking from a soda straw.
More to come…
